Kristian Carlsson, Short Film Soundtracks 2002-2022 (ALBUM)

Den är vad den heter: en 38 korta spår lång representation av originalfilmmusik-för-kortfilm-genren, som sträcker sig över 20 år och har mynnat ur samma individuella konstnärshjärna. Musik som inte vet bättre än att försänka lyssnarens tankar i spontant bildseende, även utan, och på andra sätt än med, de kortfilmer som de varit ämnade för – och i albumformatet förmedlar musiken sin egen berättelse. De flesta ledmotiven är instrumentala.

It is what it claims to be: a 38 mini-track representation of the original score soundtrack genre spanning 20 years and having emerged from the individual brain of the artist. Music that can’t help but to submerge imagery into the mind of the listener, even without, and in other ways than, the short films they were intended for – and as a complete album set, the music tells a story of its own. A majority of these theme songs are instrumental.
